Police at Knowledge Park station have filed a case for rash driving and are examining CCTV footage to identify and track the driver of the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.

The incident has renewed concerns over the safety of students travelling through the busy college area in Greater Noida. The concern comes after another speeding incident involving a schoolgirl was also reported on the same day.
With the driver yet to be traced, police are using available CCTV footage as part of the investigation into the collision and the circumstances surrounding the fleeing vehicle.
